How access works

The connector is certified by Wolters Kluwer. You log in to Twinfield itself; your password never goes into Odoo. The ERP2XL connection service keeps the access encrypted, on a server in the Netherlands, and gives Odoo a key that is valid for an hour each time. Your invoices, customers and suppliers go directly from Odoo to Twinfield, not through ERP2XL.

Good habits

  • Your login is yours. Don't share your Twinfield login, not even with us; we never ask for it. Use a separate link user with access to only the administration needed, and turn on two-step verification if Twinfield offers it.
  • Administrators in Odoo: only give those rights to whoever needs them.
  • Test copy of your database? First click Disconnect Twinfield in it, before anyone posts invoices in it. Keep backups in a safe place.
  • Noticed something odd? Click Disconnect Twinfield, disable the Twinfield user for a moment and e-mail us. We can block the access of your database right away.
